GQ Germany with Indya Moore

We’re delighted to have hosted this editorial for the December issue of GQ Germany with Indya Moore.

In this powerful shoot and interview, Indya Moore strips back the gloss of the fashion and film industries. What emerges is not just a portrait of a model or actor, but the story of a survivor, an activist, and someone whose presence brings real humanity to the screen.

For this project, the team hired both our North Wing and South Wing studios at our East London location house, opting for a more stripped-back interior. Unlike many of our shoots, which often highlight our eclectic set, colourful rooms, and plant-filled corners, this production went for a minimal, clean aesthetic with plain backdrops.

The cover shot was taken against the patinaed green wall in the South Studio, paired with a matching green carpet brought in by the set designer. It’s a great example of how the space can be transformed: some of the final images are almost unrecognisable from the usual look of the studio. They also shot in the North Wing, using the dark purple walls allowing Indya’s couture looks to stand out. Sometimes, a simpler environment can be the perfect complement for high-fashion editorial styling — and this shoot demonstrates that beautifully.

We absolutely loved the results and felt truly honoured to have such a remarkable actress and artist grace our space.
